Camp Tuition
Tuition Includes Essentials: Room, Meals and Program. No hidden fees here!
Your camp tuition covers the core experience — from lodging and meals to staff and program infrastructure. It ensures your child has safe accommodations, nutritious meals, trained professionals, specialized programming, and support throughout their course — all included without unexpected add-ons.
Camp Financial Policies: Everything You Need to Know About Application Fees, Enrollment Deposits, and Payment Policies
Application Fee: Secure Your Camper’s Spot
A $250 non-refundable deposit is required, except for international courses, to secure your child’s spot once accepted. Payment information must be submitted prior to April 1st, and the deposit can sometimes be applied to another course during the same season.
Payments are accepted via check, e-check, or credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, AmEx, Discover), making the registration process simple and secure.
Enrollment Deposit & Full Payment: Confirming Course
After acceptance, remaining tuition is due by May 1st for domestic courses (April 1st for international).
Payments can be made online or by phone through CampInTouch. Using alternate payment methods like checks is allowed if received before the deadline.
Timely payment confirms your camper’s enrollment and keeps the process smooth and stress-free.
Card on File & Future Billing: Keeping It Simple
Families submit a card on file during application to cover tuition balances, fees, or incidental costs.
All charges are processed securely and parents are notified of payments.
This ensures timely payment, avoids delays in enrollment confirmation, and makes managing camp expenses easy and convenient.

- 61+ days – Full refund
- 31–60 days – 50% refund
- 16–30 days – 25% refund
- Within 15 days – No refund
Respecting
Equipment
We take care to ensure that all equipment is used responsibly, and we expect campers to do the same. If SOAR property—such as tents, cabins, rental vans, or other gear—is damaged due to negligence or failure to follow guidelines, the camper may be charged for the cost of repair or replacement. Parents will always be informed if such a situation occurs.
Spending
Money
Funds for camp activities and travel are carefully calculated. Overspending beyond the recommended amount is not the camp’s responsibility. Approximately $15.00 of your child’s spending money will be held aside for a celebratory dinner near the end of their course. Any remaining money may be used by the student for souvenirs or necessary personal items during the course. Unspent money from purchases will be returned during the debrief.

Our need-based scholarship program helps bridge the gap for families who may not otherwise be able to afford summer camp tuition. By offering financial assistance specifically for students with ADHD and learning differences, we empower campers to access a supportive environment where they build confidence, skills, and lifelong memories. Here, cost will never stand in the way of a transformative summer.

Scholarships
Any student enrolled in the Academy at SOAR’s Spanish Immersion courses is expected to complete the Academic Term. Withdrawal or dismissal of a student before the close of the Academic Term will result in forfeiture of the unused paid portions of the tuition, fees and costs, and the family shall remain obligated to complete payment in full for tuition, fees and costs for the entire academic term.

Although we take precautions to ensure gear is treated respectfully, we reserve the right to charge students for damage done to SOAR equipment due to negligence or non-compliance. This may include damage to tents, rental vans, cabins, etc. Parents will be notified of the damage that occurred.
Honesty
Policy
Students will be required to attend to the Academy at SOAR’s Peru Study Abroad course with access to a debit account. This will be used to help teach fiscal responsibility, budgeting, and accountability.

General Scholarship Fund
This fund is for any family that qualifies, based on need, to receive a scholarship from SOAR.
Military Scholarship Fund
These scholarships are reserved for families that have a member in any branch of the military. It is one way that SOAR is able to say THANK YOU for your service!
